Patricia first met Paola Calciolari, founder of Le Tamerici, in 1995 at the Slow Food Fair in Turin. Paola was inspired to match her Mostarda with cheese, as her recipes are full of fruit or vegetable texture & taste, with a hot mustard syrup that is an accent rather than overpowering. When you taste Le Tamerici’s Mostarda with cheese, the result is an intense marriage of flavours.
We are delighted to be joined by Paola & her colleague Giulia Monica in an upcoming supper, as we showcase the Le Tamerici range, including Mostarda made with Orange & Plum, & Red Tomato Jam alongside perfect pairings with La Fromagerie Italian Cheeses & Charcuterie.
Cheese: Caprini Freschi, Toma del Maccagno, Fontina Alpina, Parmigiano Reggiano
Charcuterie: Prosciutto Arrosto, Prosciutto Arnad, Coppa with Juniper & Bresaola
Bollito Misto: Classic northern Italian stew of beef, veal, chicken & Cotechino served with Le Tamerici Mostarda & Salsa Verde

LE TAMERICI was established in 1991 in Pietole, Mantova, initially as part of a cultural association with a Cookery School. The recipes were created by Paola Calciolari whose degree in Pharmacy & true passion in cookery forged her business. Le Tamerici unites a spirit of craftsmanship & local products with modern technology. All the ingredients are carefully selected and processed fresh using special production methods that ensure colour & fragrance are conserved without any need for preservatives, additives, thickeners or anti-oxidants.
Places to this workshop are limited. Please note that we cannot process refunds after the purchase of a ticket, although you may transfer your ticket to another person if you are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket.
