CHEESES FROM THE UNITED STATES,
JUST IN TIME FOR THANKSGIVING
It has been some years now that we have been in conversation with the Artisan Cheese Exchange – a bridge between America's finest cheesemakers and their global trading partners. Many hurdles had to be overcome regarding documentation, consolidation and logistics, but from our friendly tea and cake in-shop meetings we have now developed a way forward. Via our platform in the Paris Rungis Wholesale Market we can collect the newly landed cheeses and transport them over to our warehouse quickly and efficiently.
Starting with five cheeses from Wisconsin, California & Vermont, the selection will continue to evolve and grow as our customers get acquainted with their characteristics and seasonality. We are very excited to be able to engage in this way, especially as it will open up the hidden depths of American ‘farmstead’ cheeses, and how the New World pioneers have created their own versions of old family recipe cheeses.
We will also be looking to add a few American wines on our list too, and the Friday evenings at No. 6 will be an ideal platform to showcase the cheeses and wines alongside the European plates.
