celebrate guy fawkes night with good food

Remember remember the 5th of November!

Guy Fawkes Night - or "Bonfire Night" - is usually connected with fun, fireworks and family.

While is a wonderful occasion, surrounded by festive cheer, it can often leave one wondering what to do once the celebrations have finished; invariably the weather is cold & off-putting and the excitement can quickly turn to hunger.

We recommend Guy Fawkes Night as an opportunity to enjoy some easy & delicious comfort food in the warmth of home.

Something simple like bangers & mash is ideal; and why not follow it up with something cheesey to finish!

We pride ourselves on our love of good food, so for some great quality sausages we recommend Ginger Pig for our MARYLEBONE customers, Godfrey's in HIGHBURY & McKanna Meats in BLOOMSBURY.

When it comes to cheese the choices are endless...

For something simple & delicious try a baked Vacherin; perfect at this time of year, simply pop it in the oven & serve with a little Chigin white wine and crusty bread for dipping.

Or why not try your hand at some home-made fondue. Our famous Fondue Savouarde is the perfect sharing dish, to be enjoyed with some cornichons, bite-sized new potatoes, or whatever you fancy - our head chef Alessandro guides you through how easy it is to make here.

Or stick with a simple cheese toastie; everyone has their own recipe, but if you're working with great cheese they can't be beaten!
