Vines trained in the Pugliese trellis method, this Montepulciano grape reaches its peak of ripeness in mid-October. Light crushing after harvest and then left to macerate on their skins and ferment at a controlled temperature for twelve days. Rack and return breaking up develops a deeper colour and more aromatic scent. The deep ruby hue and characteristic aroma of cherries and forest fruits gives the flavours a density with soft tannins. A perfect summer wine.
