The recent Cheese Room arrival of La Tour du Bonheur is a layered goat/cow/goat, making it silky on the palate with edgy creme fraiche notes; Tomme Fleurette, the high-mountain-swiss nod to Brie, is grassy and melting with farmhouse aromas; our 4+ Year Gouda is all crunch, butterscotch & caramel; Munster brings meaty notes against a sightly chewy texture; Bleu de Bonneval is like fresh cream shot through with that earthy roqueforti moulds.

100% Riesling. Located some 50km from Strasbourg, the estate has been in the family for three generations and is now run by Olivier who took over in 1996. The wine is from grapes selected from the oldest vines on the slope side of the vineyard. Perfect Riesling character from the simple philosophy of their winemaking being respect for the land and the vine, giving a purity to the taste. Full-bodied with excellent acidity and a long zesty fruit and mineral finish.

Hacienda de Susar is a unique vineyard in Rioja – the first to be granted Experimental Status to grow international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Syrah. This intriguing single vineyard Rioja wine has been crafted using extreme viticulture techniques. The wine is aged for 18 months in new French Oak barrels and is suitable for cellar ageing. Deeply coloured hue with an intense bouquet of ultra-ripe berry fruit derived from the blend of international varieties used. Underlined with fine oaky nuance, spice & great depth of flavour. Perfectly balanced, concentrated & long finish.
