Grapes: 46% Phoenix, 22% Madeline Angevine, 17% Reichensteiner, 10% Orion, 5% Solaris

A crisp, refreshing wine providing distinctively English aromas and flavours of crisp green apples, elderflower and freshly cut grass. The ripe fruit flavours and soft acidity balance nicely to create a refreshing wine. Fantastic on its own or pair with fish dishes.

All the grapes are hand-picked to make minimum intervention wines, which truly express the vineyard and vintage.

Agnes & Robert Schulte’s top wine from 40 year old vines. Rigorous selection produces low yields, & all the above grapes are the dominant vines with Syrah, Malbec & Abouriou also featuring. Matured for 12 months in 75% new oak barrels. Deliciously dense with exceptional concentration.  Fruity with spice & chocolate and good tannin strength. Open and decant at least 4 hours. 2003 was a hot summer and the wines have forward tannins & a racy finish.

The shop is now an ‘historical italian premises’ situated in the heart of the small town of Cherasco under the colonnade. This beautiful shop has been completely restored, with all the liberty period furnishings intact. We order their famous chocolates just in for Christmas. 135 g.

Chrystal’s Shortbread is a small independent bakery based near Loch Lomond in Argyll, Scotland. Run by husband and wife Chrystal and Rory Mackinlay, their recipe is the same one passed down through generations of Chrystal’s family - they still hand cut their shortbread. 80g.
