Join us for a glass of champagne as La Fromagerie hosts a very special one-off tasting of wine and cheese.
Chateau Bouscaut, whose vineyards date back to the 17th century, is a Classed Growth of the Graves Appellation for both red & white wines. The chateau itself, a charming 18th century stately home in the Chartreuse-style stands in the shade of centuries-old oak trees and overlooks the vineyard. Lucien Lurton, born into a long line of the Medoc, bought Chateau Bouscaut in 1979. His daughter, Sophie Lurton, took over the reins of the domain in 1992. Laurent Cogombles, her husband, has worked alongside her since 1997; he is currently the president of the Pessac-Leognan appellation.
Last year Patricia & Sarah visited this stunning vineyard and were lucky enough to visit their state of the art barrel cellars and, of course, taste some stunning wines. Guests will taste red & white Chateau Bouscaut, Pessac Leognan. We will be joined by Marie-Amelie Fourault de Fontenay of Chateau Bouscaut who will co-host with Patricia, who has selected three cheeses to accompany each wine.
