BURNS NIGHT 2017
Wednesday 25 January 2017
7.00pm for drinks; dinner at 7.30pm
£65.00pp including wines & drams of whisky
Join us as we celebrate Robert Burns, poet & balladeer, Scotland's favourite son & champion of the common people. Every January Scots — along with anyone partial to haggis — take time out to honour a national icon & feast on classic Scottish fare.
We will be toasting our Burns Night Celebration with whisky & wines; beginning with a whisky-laced Cock-a-Leekie Soup and Scottish Smoked Salmon, the Haggis will then be marched out to the sound of bagpipes with a fabulous & theatrical rendition of 'Ode to a Haggis'. Guests can choose from Haggis with Neeps & Tatties or a Ballotine of Chicken stuffed with Haggis. Leave room for the cheeseboard with oatcakes and liberal tots of Scotch Whisky. We'll finish on a sweet note with Typsy Laird.
Kilts, as ever, are optional!
