Join us for coffee, tea & toast with - of course - marmalade; as we journey together through LA FROMAGERIE’s take on the classic simple British café breakfast.

It may be a grey skies out there, but in the kitchen at LA FROMAGERIE Marmalade Season is upon us. Pans of marmalade are bubbling away with their Citrus perfume filling the air. The shelves will be brimming with jewel –hued jars; Orange, Lemon & Lime, Bergamot, Grapefruit & Blood Orange – stock up as it’s a short season. Especially for one of our favourites - the Seville Orange - starts so bitter, but when boiled with water & sugar it transforms into that most quintessentially British breakfast essential.

Max, one of our senior cheesemongers, will be making homemade cultured butter, guests will then have the opportunity to taste through & compare a range of the butters in store. Alessandro, our head chef, will be demonstrating some of his marmalade techniques; with the World Marmalade Awards just around the corner we've been busy creating all sorts of recipes for the breakfast table, so it is the perfect time to showcase the preserve! Alongside this, Patricia, our founder, will talk through the farming, tradition & styles behind our favourite tea & coffee.

Each guest will get a gift bag to take home.
