Made in Azienda Agricola Le Torri in Chianti from Trebbiano Toscano grapes. This is a classic dessert wine tasting of richly spiced fruit. The grapes are faded on straw beds from harvest to December when pressing takes place. The long slow fermentation is in traditional oak casks for at least 4 years taking advantage of the passing of the seasons. The golden colour is rich; the silky texture has a scent of dried fruits and the elegant woody sherry style flavours have a sweetness that makes this a delicious accompaniment to crisp biscotti.
