Mondeuse with a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay. Rene Quenard's vineyards in the Savoie, produce a muscular tasting wine which is lightened somewhat by blending Pinot Noir and Gamay. There are concentrated fruit flavours with a tart finish making this a good wine to serve with roasted meat, game and a cheese such as St Nectaire or Bethmale (earthy flavours).Limited availability.
