We are delighted to invite you to the first tasting event celebrating Patricia's second book entitled CHEESE.
April 2010 saw the release of the book; a global journey of taste, tradition & terroir, featuring some of the world's best artisan cheeses.
We begin with a summer tasting focussing on the first chapter of the book; The British Isles & Ireland.
Beginning with a glass of Crémant d'Alsace Rosé paired with gougère and parmesan straws - both recipes from the book.
Patricia will then take us on a tour of delicate summer cheeses: goat cheese from Staffordshire, Ireland & Totnes, sweet ewe's milk cheese from Riseley in Berkshire finishing with a traditional farmhouse cheese from Goosnargh.
This will be followed by another of Patricia's recipes from the book of Pip's Essex asparagus with buttered breadcrumbs & Berkswell.
The second cheese plate takes us to Ireland as we pair washed rind cheeses alongside St Gall, a Swiss style cheese, from Co Cork, these will be paired with a Bordeaux style wine from one of our favourite wine makers Chateau Beaulieu
The tasting will finish with all the blues from Totnes to Ireland paired with a lightly chilled Tawny Port & Vignola Cherries.

This tasting promises to be both delicious and informative as Patricia takes us on a global journey through her book of CHEESE
