Join us for Black Velvets & Whiskey Sours as we celebrate St Patricks Day this year with a twist on the classic fondue. During the evening Bruno will host a St Patrick's Day Quiz & will be testing your knowledge of cheese, Ireland & all sorts! It promises to a fun & convivial evening for friends & family. MENU

First Course: Smoked Salmon with Potato Cakes & Horseradish Crème Fraiche

AN IRISH FONDUE 
We are bringing a little of the French Jura mountains to Ireland for this supper with a fondue made with Glebe Brethan – an Irish Gruyere-style made by David Tiernan with milk from his Montbéliarde cows; the breed originates in the mountainous Jura region of eastern France and their nutrient-rich milk is excellent for making cheese. (Montbéliarde milk is used to produce the region’s celebrated Comté cheese.)
We will be pairing the Glebe Brethan with Coolea & Durrus, finished with a dash of Irish Whiskey. 
Served with steamed potatoes & Broccoli, pickles & charcuterie.
White Wine Pairing: Chateau Le Roc, Vin de Pays D'Oc, Fronton Côtes du Frontonnais, SW France, 50% Colombard 50% Ugni Blanc.
The grape varieties give a really intense aroma of grapefruit, orange & exotic fruits while the taste is fresh with an aromatic long finish. 
Red Wine Pairing: Mondeuse, Rene Quenard, Savoie, 100% Mondeuse.
There are concentrated fruit flavours with notes of blackberries & spices.  A good wine to serve with earthy rich cheeses.
