Soave Classico Balestri Valda, Villa Bucci Sengialta Vineyard, Soave, Veona. 70% Garganega, 30% Trebbiano. Soave often perceived as a run of the mill wine since its popularity meant over production, we wanted to have one that reflected its true character. This vineyard under the direction of the Rizzotto family has the desired refined excellence. There is a fresh brightness with the delicate pale golden straw robe with hints of green. The aromas are fresh, light, with elderberry and cherry blossom subtlety ending with vanilla and the flavours have a mineral youthful fresh acidity. Perfect for risotto, grilled fish and both hard, fruity not too dry cheeses as well as softer goat's cheese.
