This lightly smoked cheese has a smooth buttery texture and a pleasant lightly earthy taste. The conical shaped cheese is immersed in hot whey to seal the outside and prevent moulds growing. Then it is smoked before ripening further for 1-2 months. A simple style cheese for lunch or combining with hams and salamis.
