IGT Torre Quarto, Cerignola, Puglia. 20% each of Cabernet & Merlot, 25% Uva di Troia, 20% Sangiovese, 15% Montepulciano. An historical estate dating back around 500 years, and now producing modern fruit laden wines from a region fast gaining in reputation. Wines arerefined in French oak casks for 6 months before bottling for a further ageing of at least 2 months. Really easy drinking with loads of fruit and soft tannins, so perfect for roast meats, and strong cheeses including blues.
