Alain Brumont’s wines are always well structured and full of interesting flavours. This has a fresh citrus zesty taste with exotic tropical flavours and a hint of honey.


Main course

Coufidou with Aligot: Rich Daube of Beef with Mashed potato mixed with Tomme Fraîche, Vichy Carrots & Spinach

Wine: Chateau Beaulieu La Cuvee de l’Oratoire 1999, Marmande, Lot et Garrone, nr Bordeaux

In true Bordelais style using Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon, Merlot as dominant vines (all aged 40 plus years) with Syrah, Malbec and Abouriou grapes featuring. Deliciously dense and fruity with spice and chocolate. A perfect wine for robust meat dishes.
