Celia is often seen at La Fromagerie on Sunday mornings with her "Gastro-Tours", conducting tours around Marylebone Village and other London foodie hotspots such as Borough Market.
We are delighted to be joined by Celia as she talks about her book New Urban Farmer. Part gardening manual part recipe book, Celia's recipes are deliciously simple and seasonally inspiring.
Join us for coffee & pastries at 9.30 followed by a delicious brunch as Celia demonstrates recipes from her book using La Fromagerie summer fruits and vegetables along with produce fresh picked that morning from her allotment.; from Pea & Feta Egg Cups to Broad Beans with Lettuce and Parmesan Potato Cakes with Summer Herbs and Maldon smoked salmon with a glass of Prosecco. Perfect for cooks and avid gardeners alike, this promises to be a convivial and quintessential summer brunch workshop.

About Celia: Passionate about food in every way possible, through books, journalism, consulting and her live demonstrations. Her inventive style of cooking has made her an established name on the cookery shelf. Born in Colorado, USA, she moved to Britain after university. She worked for several years as a private chef for the film director Stanley Kubrick and running her own catering business. She has written seven cookbooks, including the international bestseller New Vegetarian.
Celia writes a weekly column for The Times online called "Urban Farmer" about her allotment in North London, and her new book, "New Urban Farmer", based on the column, was published in March 2010 by Quadrille. Her column "Grow to Eat" appears monthly in BBC Good Food Magazine. She makes regular TV appearances on the UKTV Food channel's Market Kitchen and the BBC's Saturday Kitchen.
