100% Pinot Noir. Jean-Pierre Charton produces wines of character and finesse. 2003 was a hot summer and the natural forward acidity and light tannins seem on an even level. A medium-weight wine with ripe berry fruit and liquorice and a gentle tobacco hit. Perfect for a very French style dinner of Boeuf Bourguignon, with a cheese plate including Brie.
