La Fromagerie is delighted to be joined by award winning chef, restaurateur & food writer Mark Hix in celebration of his latest book HIX Oyster & Chop House
Over an aperitif of Hix Fix & De Beauvoir Smoked salmon & Oysters Mark will be talking about his book, the restaurants and the inspiration behind his food.
We will then enjoy a supper of classic Hix fare; beginning with Partridge, followed by a monk fish cheek & fennel pie with seasonal greens and wild mushrooms.
Mark will choose his perfect cheese plate finishing with a quintessential late summer pudding of Roast plums & new season cobnuts with Clotted Cream.
Each course will be paired with wine.
This promises to be a delicious evening of seasonal British food and cooking at its best.
