High Mountain Tasting: Cheese, Charcuterie & Wine

A Tutored tasting & Cooking Demonstration with Patricia Michelson

For this evening Patricia will take us up into the High Mountain pastures of Italy & France for a hearty tasting supper of traditional fare.

Over a glass of Prosecco Patricia will be demonstrating one of her favourite supper dishes: Tartiflette made with reblochon, which is meltingly good at the moment, potato and lardons, during the demonstartion guests will enjoy a selection of charcuterie from the Alto Adige & Lombardy.

 

The seated tasting will take us to Piedmont with wild mushrooms paired with Roccaverano, a goat's cheese made to an old traditional recipe from the Langhe; we then head over the border to the Haute Savoie to enjoy a warming dish of the classic Tartiflette

Supper will end with a delicious dessert of Rézules de Poires, a classic pastry from the Savoie region made with pears.
This promises to be delicious and informative regional tasting event.
