From the Terre di Shemir Estate in Trapani, Sicily. Made from a local grape variety, Nero d'Avola. This is a wonderful light, fruity, easy to drink wine. Perfect with barbeques as it can be served lightly chilled. Or try with classic regional Italian dishes or lighter tasting Pecorino cheeses. The vineyard is situated not far from the coast and in fact close to the famous salt-pans and this can be detected in a delicate hint of salty-briny flavours in the wine.
