Enrico 1st Langhe Rosso

A superb wine from Roberto Sarotto in Piedmont Nebbiolo, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The blend of grapes gives this wine its full bodied earthy richness, but not too overpoweringly tannic on the palate. Very drinkable although at 13% rather alcoholic. Perfect with meat dishes, but also with chewy cheeses like Fontina or Raschera or even a matured rich Robiola delle Langhe soft cheese
