Easter at La Fromagerie

This Easter our pastry chef Helena will be making homemade Hot X Buns – enjoy toasted with lots of Max's Homemade Cultured Butter in either Maldon-salted or Unsalted varieties.

Elsewhere in the shop the Italian classic Colomba will be arriving – beautifully wrapped in that uniquely Italian manner – along with Cantuccini with hazelnuts, figs & almonds (perfect with a chilled glass of Vin Santo from Tuscany). From Bernard Dufoux in Burgundy we have exquisite Milk Chocolate Easter Hens, and from Monsumano in Tuscany we have the classic Slitti Chocolate Buttons, along with an array of Tortines made with hazelnuts, raisins & crisp rice enrobed in dark or milk chocolate.

Alessandro will be making Pasqualine, a classic puff pastry filled with spinach & ricotta with an egg baked in the centre, one will also feature artichokes.

Perhaps most importantly, for the children we will preparing Easter Cupcakes & Easter Biscuits, as well as Chicks & Easter Bunny Buttery Shortbread. Click here for further information on our Easter Treats Children's Workshop.
