A Festive Feast

We have lots of tempting fare for you, from fillets of hot smoked salmon from Maldon on the Essex Coast, served with horseradish crème fraiche, Home made Fois Gras Terrine with Perigord Truffles complemented by a delicate Prosecco jelly & toasted brioche. Our house cured Gravadlax with toasted Poilâne with unwaxed lemon & petit suisses.

For turkey with all the trimmings we have smoked pancetta from Piedmont to wrap around chipolatas, dried first grade porcini for your stuffing as well as  cooked chestnuts from Verfeuille in Cévennes. For a very decadent addition we have black & white truffles - available to order, and subject to market price. Big jars of Goose fat for the perfect roast potatoes. Home made cranberry sauce and the kitchen will be preparing bread sauce.
For the last week of Christmas we will have a delivery of fresh produce; carrots by the bunch, parsnips, leaf clementines, unwaxed lemons and dates on the vine - if you do not see something please ask as it may be stored in our kitchen.

The Cheese room will be piled high with cheese, to assist you we have prepared a cheese & wine pairing handout. Just don't forget the Brie aux Truffe.

For dessert, homemade Christmas puddings: full of Brandy, rum & stout with lots of spices, pour over a bit more brandy & ignite; serve with a spoonful of our homemade rum sauce or brandy butter.
Christmas cakes
are brimming with fruit & steeped in Brandy & Marsala, covered in marzipan and icing finished with a delicate iced star wrapped with ribbon
Moreish mince pies, decorated with a single pastry star, are the prefect addition to a cup of tea, along side a slice of warmed German Stöllen. Something for your freezer; we have the most delicious prune & Armagnac icecream, along with fiore di latte, chocolate chip & a very refreshing Amafi lemon sorbet.
We will also be making Bouche de Noel, a Yule Tide Chocolate log cake - please note that these will be to order only.

As a digetif we recommend perhaps a good long walk in one of London's beautiful Royal Parks...

We would like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas
and a Prosperous New Year

With kind regards,
All the staff at LA FROMAGERIE
