Wine > Chateau Sancrit
France, Bordeaux
70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc. The vineyard is in the Northern Gironde, directly upon crossing the 45th parallel. This invisible line splits the hemisphere in two equal parts and expresses the balance that one feels here. The vineyard spreds out over the Montalon hillside which give a panoramic view over the plains below and the meandering Dordogne river. The Clay-Limestone soil and rock give body and fruit as well as well defined tannins. Perfect for hard crumbly cheeses, as well as goat and ewe’s milk cheeses. In fact very cheese-friendly.
Sorry, no suggestions at the moment.
