Mediterranean vines including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault & Carignan. Louis Panis and his wife Claudine have inherited their family vineyard which is in its 5th generation.  By updating the way the estate is run, they are producing exceptional wines of strength and character.  The estate is situated between Narbonne and Carcassonne, with the gravelly Lézignan soil to give backbone to the style, and the aromatic abundant wild herb flora to give the rich, spicy perfume on the nose.  The family have been very careful to keep the yield low to ensure an intensity to the taste of the wine and with the hot dry days and cool nights together with the warm coastal breezes, this is a truly luscious and very drinkable wine to be enjoyed with roasted meats and full flavoured cheeses.
