Marmande, Lot et Garrone, nr Bordeaux In true Bordelais style using Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon, Merlot, these are the dominant vines (all aged 40 plus years) with Syrah, Malbec and Abouriou grapes also featuring. Deliciously dense and fruity with spice and chocolate. Good tannin strength. Open and decant at least 4 hours before serving. A big wine for a superb cheese course and meat dishes. Will lay down for at least 10 years. Very limited supply.
