We are delighted to invite you to a very special one off event with Simon Hoggart, wine correspondent for the Spectator, weekly columnist for the Guardian and author of 16 books including his new book: Life's Too Short To Drink Bad Wine - 100 wines for the Discerning Drinker.

The evening will begin with a glass of Prosecco followed by a talk by Simon as he introduces us to his knowledgeable, entertaining and witty approach to wine writing.

La Fromagerie will be set up into various wine regions from Gascony & Burgundy, Haut Jura over into the Veneto, Piedmont and down to Tuscany as guests embark on a regional tasting journey whilst enjoying classic pairings of charcuterie and canapés prepared by our kitchen along with some stunning seasonal farmhouse cheeses selected by our affineurs.

Signed copies of Simon's book will be available on the evening - A perfect stocking filler!

Please note that this will be a standing event, however some benches will be available.For the first of our Christmas events it is perfect for friends, a relaxed and sociable event in a very cosy candle lit La Fromagerie. This promises to be an enlightening evening for anyone that enjoys good wine and food.
